This morning (8 February), Ophir Rugby Club had the pleasure of welcoming the Randalstown Minis for a fantastic session of rugby, teamwork, and fun.
It was great to see so many young players coming together, developing their skills, and enjoying the game in a positive and energetic atmosphere.
These kinds of events are what grassroots rugby is all about - bringing clubs together, fostering friendships, and encouraging young players to grow in confidence and ability.
The enthusiasm and sportsmanship on display from both teams made for a brilliant morning, and we’re grateful to everyone who made it happen.
A huge thank you to Randalstown Rugby Club, their players, coaches, and families for making the trip.
If your child would like to get involved in rugby, Ophir Minis train every Saturday at 10 AM at Ulster University Jordanstown (UUJ). New players are always welcome - come along and give it a go!
