Ophir 2nd XV played their second friendly of the season on Saturday 03rd December, away against a strong Holywood 2nds Team and fielding a team mixed of experience.

With the game very much in favour of the home team, Ophir fell behind 10 nil with the hosts scoring two extremely well worked tries. Not to be deterred in a very evenly matched game, the Ophir resolve came through with two tries of their own, and capitalized on the tries by scoring both conversions, making the score 14-10 to the visitors. Despite a nervy end, Ophir held on to win the game!

Special mention goes to all of the Azlans that were able to play and especially the three debutants who had never played a game before today!
